[Businessteam] IT Spending Stat

A Cahners In-Stat survey of corporate information-technology buyers finds 
that one-third of those surveyed plan to decrease their IT spending to 
compensate for declining business performance. Despite the slowdown, the 
firm reports that U.S. businesses spent more than $80 billion - 
approximately 15 percent of total IT investments - on Net-related
technology 
products, services and personnel in 2000. By 2004, the firm forecasts that

figure to reach almost $200 billion.
