Yahoo Announces Broadcast Venture 

In an effort to attract more visitors as well as advertisers,Yahoo will 
unveil a new broadcast site offering an increased selection of audio, 
video and multimedia content. According to a Reuters report, the Palo 
Alto-based Internet giant has made agreements with video providers like 
ABCNews.com, AdventureTV.com and ClassicMovies.com. Although the content 
will not all be related to movies or television features, Yahoo said it 
was committed to becoming "the premiere entertainment site on the Web." 
Yahoo also looks to attract new advertisers by offering sponsors the 
chance to create creative ad campaigns for which more stagnant traditional

formats don't allow.
