I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for 
your support during the past year and half. 

Unfortunately, I must inform you that MyInternetDesktop.com will be
closing 
its server doors to the general public on November 16, 2000 at 5 pm PST. 

As you may know, MyInternetDesktop is a product of IAN (Internet Appliance

Network). IAN , in response to market conditions, has re-evaluated its 
strategy. We have streamlined our business and are focusing exclusively on

our core competency as a provider of  technology for Internet Appliances. 
IAN develops and markets a universal enabling solution, which includes 
Internet Appliance design and a full suite of client server technologies, 
for Internet Appliances. IANs customers are manufacturers and resellers of

Internet Appliances.  IAN is no longer delivering services directly to 
consumers. 

I would like to thank you all for sharing our vision of the future 
of web computing.  It has truly been my pleasure serving each and every
one 
of you and giving you all a "virtual" Internet desktop on the Web. 

Please, take the time between today and November 16th to download and 
export any information you have in MyInternetDesktop.com.  If, however, 
after November 16, 2000, should you have any questions, please feel free
to 
contact info@ian.net.  I am personally moving on to new opportunities, and

your inquiry will be routed to someone who can help you.
